Application and consumption
KONTUR paints can be applied using all types of road marking machines, both hydrodynamic and pneumatic, and can also be applied by hand. Consumption depends on thickness of the layer applied. It is recommended to apply KONTUR paint in min. 350 µm thick layer (measured when wet) due to its consumption ranging from appr. 0.6 kg/m2. This consumption of material is approximate and may vary depending on application method. To obtain reflective effect, it is necessary to drop glass beads onto the paint immediately after application. After application, the machine and tools should be cleaned with KONSOLV solvent. During works, general health and safety rules, fire safety regulations in this area, and recommendations regarding precautionary measures in accordance with the technical data sheet of the product must be observed.
Packages:
KONTUR white paint is available in 33 kg pails, or in 300 kg drums or 1,600 kg container under order. KONTUR yellow, red, blue and black paints are available in 30 kg pails.
