KONTURPLAST Cold Plastic Red has also passed inspection of the State Department of Hygiene in terms of safety to people and environment and received hygiene certificate.
Marking made with KONTURPLAST Cold Plastic Red offers many safety benefits, including good visibility at night time. It also has good base adhesion, does not crack during operation and is resistant to sunlight, water and sodium chloride solution.
Application and consumption
KONTURPLAST cold plastic can be applied by hand with the use of spatula, plastomarker, or automatically by self-propelled machine. When applying on paved or cement-concrete surface, KONTUR PRIMER should be used. In case of full or structural marking Konturplast cold plastic is applied in 1.5 - 5 mm thick layer due to its consumption ranging from 2.90 kg/m2 to 9.8 kg/m2. To obtain reflective effect, it is necessary to drop glass beads onto cold plastic immediately after application. After application, the machine and tools should be cleaned before final hardening. Use KONSOL V solvent as cleaning agent. During works, general health and safety rules, fire safety regulations in this area, and recommendations regarding precautionary measures in accordance with the technical data sheet of the product must be observed.
