The main pre-heater units are the thermoplastic tank(s) and the power unit.
The heat generated by the oil burner can be transferred to plastic via either an intermediate heat carrier (indirect heating) or directly through the thermoplastic tank walls (direct heating).
The power unit powers the machine operating parts and components: the agitator, the burner, the automation system, and the gate drive (if any).
The automation system ensures that the thermoplastic temperature settings are maintained in the required range throughout the entire material preparation cycle.
The delivery package includes a draining chute, a pyrometer, a gas burner, an access ladder (only in some models), heat-resistant gloves, and a flashing light.
Depending on the model, Vulcan Series Pre-Heaters can be equipped with loading conveyors.
Pre-heaters must be installed on a truck chassis with a sufficient load capacity.
